  I've been using this app for about 5 years with iPad and it has been great. However, recently in an update there is an extremely inconvenient bug that really hampers my note taking. I like to import PDFs and PowerPoints to mark up during lectures. In the newest version I am unable to import these files directly from canvas and other apps using the share button. And when I import using another method there are often pages of the pdf or presentation missing upon import to the app. This is unacceptable and needs to be fixed as soon as possible. This app has integrated so well into my workflow for years and now it becomes almost unusable as a result of this major inconvenience. Very frustrating. Please get rid of these changes!!!!!

  Would give it 5 stars but this app just drains my iPad battery so quickly. It is practically the only app I use on my iPad. Turning on safety mode, which I heard is a quick fix for battery drainage, hasn't had much of an effect at all.

  While I believe this app is great I do believe the white and black ink color should change between paper settings, this would help with sharing with others... another note is video embedding or web lips do not play when placed on the note... how cool would that be?.Group note taking via the cloud or open internet connection would be awesome Premade graphs for us sciences junkies would be a great addition Along with movable tools bar and perhaps an undo function similar to procreateSwitching tools just to paste an image seems tediousNote naming should be smarter !!! I should be able to name a subject 'lab' under different dividers , since, multiple classes have a lab courseThis isn't a major complaint but I run into the inconvenience often Just a bio majors say!!   I wish there was an option for -10000000000000 stars notability is very poorly designed and hard to use. It is not compatible with Google classroom or Gmail or email it's very difficult to write with without an Apple Pencil and even with one. Inserting photos is one of the worst things about it. But the overall worst thing is the text box's I beg of you do not get this app it's horrible if you want an app similar I recommend one note it is amazing or doing your work by editing and drawing in google classroom this app is horrid.

  I have been using Notability for the past 5 years, I can definitely say that I can trust this to work even when everything else fails. I also use OneNote for its Huge Canvas, which I sincerely wish Notability added as an option. But I could always read books, write journals, maintain notes, with little to no worry. I trusted Notability with my Master's as I had all my course material in here, and I know Notability will be able to handle my upcoming Ph.D as well. Yeah, it is just not the way we're used to seeing files and folders, which I should have been used to by now, but unfortunately this still bothers me occasionally. Otherwise, the Apple Pencil writes like butter on the app and I just love using this app.Notability has been worthy throughtout.

  UPDATE: I just got the math conversion. It is so awesome! So far it works shockingly well. Thanks, I really hope the app team keep supporting this feature well. This app rocks. I use it on my iPad to do my engineering assignments - lots of equations, graphs, diagrams, etcetera. It's so nice to do it digitally, I can make it look very very clean and organized and it's easy to open it in Adobe Acrobat and add in some excel figures. I really love the way you can quickly make a line or shape, I use it constantly when I'm drawing quick figures. The price is steep but it's worth every penny.
